About Svenja
Svenja Isabel Baumann completed her training as a musical theatre actress at the Musical Arts Academy in Mainz. She also has a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Linguistics (Universities of Dortmund and Groningen, Netherlands).
During her training, she received her first professional engagement at the Heppenheim Festival in “The Happy Vineyard”.
Various engagements followed as an actress, singer, choreographer and speaker; as an assistant director, Svenja was also allowed to assists with the production of the musical "Flashdance" at the Bad Vilbel Castle Festival. Since 2018, she has been touring the musical theatre stages in Germany, Austria and Luxembourg with Theater auf Tour.
Parallel to her stage engagements, Svenja has been teaching singing, dance and acting for all ages in the Rhine-Main area for several years. In addition, she is constantly educating herself and working regularly with greats like Tom Burke from New York.

I attach great importance to role work and improvisation. The better you get to know your characters, the better you can bring them to life. My aim is not to emulate an original production, but to create an individual interpretation in order to stand out in auditions.
