About Osman
I am an English Literature graduate with BA and MA degrees. I am currently doing my PhD in English at the UT at Austin.
I have plenty of experience in tutoring which started with helping my peers and later evolved into a freelance job. In this period I helped high school students, college students, and graduate students who work on their master's theses and PhD dissertations.

I prefer pupil-centered teaching methods which involve me catering to the interests of my students and combining those interests with the logical progression of the sessions where we master the art of writing together.
I typically start by gauging the student's level of competence in writing and discovering their interests to figure out how I can address their needs. The ways in which I am going to approach and attend to the student's progress largely depend on this assessment period. Therefore, the classes are highly individual without the overlapping, readymade, overused processes of essay writing.
I have worked with many college students in the past 10 years. I have helped them write their essays, theses, dissertations, or articles that are published later. I have also worked with high school students who aspire to improve their writing and potentially pursue an academic career in Literature, Creative Writing, or a similar major. I would happily provide references if requested.
