With in-depth knowledge of the risk assessments, including desktop reviews, consultation, and facilitation.
I have a proven track record in providing risk assessment services to multi-cultural companies by ensuring that systems are aligned with corporate governance requirements, employees are suitably trained, and that management is fully on board to implement the risk management programs.
Achievements include:
Co-author of the South African Government-issued “Practical guide to Risk assessment in Mining” that formed the basis for successfully introducing risk assessment into the South African mining industry.
As team leader of the development of the risk-based subordinate legislation for the South African mining industry. He e guided the drafting teams to stay within the risk management guidelines.
He developed a risk management training programs for the University of Queensland (JKTech) as well as for several global mining companies.
With a strong academic background and extensive part time roles at international Universities tutoring in risk management.
