I RECENTLY COMPLETED MY STUDIES IN POST GRADUATE CERTIFICATE IN EDUCATION (PGCE), MAJORING IN DRAMATIC ARTS EDUCATION AND ENGLISH EDUCATION. I ALSO HOLD AN UNDERGRAD DEGREE IN DRAMA AND PSYCHOLOGY, THEREFORE I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO WORK WITH STUDENTS. DURING MY PGCE I WAS TRAINED IN DRAMA AND ENGLISH TEACHING TO SHARPEN MY TEACHING SKILLS.

MY TEACHING METHOD IS QUESTION AND ANSWER, STARTING WITH A LOWER SOMATIC WAVE BY USING THE STUDENT'S EXPERIENCE AND PRIOR KNOWLEDGE FOR THE PURPOSE OF CREATING NEW KNOWLEDGE THEN I MOVE ON TO A HIGH SOMATIC WAVE WHICH I WOULD INTRODUCE COMPLEX TERMINOLOGY OR ANY SUITABLE TOPIC THAT IS REQUIRED TO BE TAUGHT. I ALSO USE CLASSROOM DISCUSSION WHERE STUDENTS ARE ALLOWED TO HAVE THEIR INPUT BUT WITH AN AWARENESS THAT THEY ARE IN THE CLASSROOM TO LEARN AND FINALLY I ALSO USE PRACTICAL TEACHING STRATEGY WHERE THE CLASS PARTICIPATE IN PHYSICAL THEATER TO SHARPEN THE SKILLS THEY HAVE LEARNT IN CLASSROOM (THEORY)
