About Aneeqa

Teaching isn't just a career choice for me; it's a deep-rooted passion driven by my love for English and a genuine desire to inspire students. Reading has been a lifelong joy, and my journey with literature led me to study an English course with the University of Oxford, enriching my understanding of the subject.

Beyond English, I have a strong foundation in essay-based subjects like Religious Studies and general essay writing. My goal as a tutor is to share my enthusiasm for these subjects and help students excel academically.

Concluding this, with my experience at a high school, I have found and witnessed methods that are proved to best work with struggling students- from structuring and helping with exam structure to dissecting poems together, I have been able to see a significant difference in both the understanding and enjoyment of the students’ learning perspective.

About the lesson

My teaching approach revolves around identifying a student's areas of difficulty and then nurturing those weaknesses to foster improvement. Simultaneously, I prioritize harnessing a student's strengths to ensure they develop a well-rounded, comprehensive knowledge base. By pinpointing and addressing specific challenges, I create a tailored learning experience that not only bolsters weaker areas but also capitalizes on a student's existing abilities. This dual focus cultivates a deeper understanding and proficiency across the board, empowering students with a holistic and high-level knowledge foundation.
