About Maria

From a young age on, I grew up bilingual and have been living in France (near the border to Germany) for 19 years now. Before I moved to the “German French High school Saarbrucken” (Saarland, Germany), I spent eight years at a purely French-language school: “Institut à la Providence Bouzonville”.

In July 2021 I obtained my German and French A-Levels at a mother tongue level. Already during middle school and at the beginning of high school, I gave tutoring sessions for younger students. (in French, Ethics and English).

I am currently studying medicine at the National and Kapotrias University in Athens, (Greece). As a side enterprise, I like to give tutoring for everyone! :)

About the lesson

My name is Maria Simon, and I am really looking forward having a lesson with you!

Apart from trying to bring my students closer to grammar, it is extremely important to me to give them an understanding and a solid foundation on the way. From my own experience, I can say that there is no better way to learn a language than by practicing it regularly and talking to someone who is fluent in the language at a mother tongue level.

Of course, I offer one free introductory class by finding out if the chemistry fits between us. We can find out which goals or themes you would like to better understand in German. The organization of the lessons is entirely up to the student, where we work together at the desired pace until the “little light bulb hovers over the head” and the tasks have been understood. Or an hour during which open questions can be clarified or lessons can be repeated.

Feel free to send me your documents and questions in advance, so that we can use the time as efficiently as possible in the tutoring for you! I hope you got a good first insight and we’ll see each other soon in our first tutoring session. I am also happy to teach students who just want to become even better in a language! :)
