About Ashwat
My passion for Physics stems from how common and how omnipresent it is. Every process, no matter the scale, is governed by Physics. Physics offers a coverage from sub-atomic particles to vast expanse of the Universe, mechanics to magnetism and optics to electricity. It allows me to integrate creative thinking with analytical approaches, encourages out of the box thinking and help create innovative solutions. Physics also gives me an intuition into the world around, which helps approach problems in a clearer, efficient and well-defined manner.
I have always been (and will always be) a learner; and that offers me a good understanding of a learner's psyche. Been there, done that, I can connect well with people and put my points across in an easy to understand way.
Beyond being an aspiring Physicist, I am a poet, an artist, a blogger, an avid MUNner and a sportsperson.

I strongly believe in two-layer teaching. First, building a strong theoretical foundation by understanding the nuances of Physics. I encourage students to question every concept and learn through several why's and how's. Next, solidifying that base with active, mindful and broad practice. This learning method not only improves confidence, but also helps develop a liking and appreciation for the subject.
I encourage students to identify principles of Physics in little (and often overlooked) day-to-day phenomena. It not only makes learning interesting and tickle the grey cells but also nudge creativity. This way students try to correlate observations with their understanding of scientific concepts, analyze and strive to identify gaps. In turn, this ensures that the concepts are well understood and eventually helps in tackling questions during tests as well as interviews.
