About Iva
Hello! My name is Iva, and I'm a high school student from California. As an advanced student, I have extensive experience in writing successful applications and essays for prestigious programs such as the Vogue School of Fashion and the Carson Scholarship Fund, both of which I have been awarded. My passion is to share skills and guide my students through firsthand experience. I will be teaching English Language Arts with a focus on editing, proofreading, and application essays, but all requests and materials are welcome! I hope to get to know you more and let's embark on this educational journey together!

The teaching method that makes me unique is that I customize the curriculum for each student. By assessing your skills and areas needing improvement, we can work toward your goals most effectively. A typical English Language Arts lesson plan would include: - 15 minutes for reviewing the previous week's homework - 30 minutes for learning new material tailored to your learning goals - 10 minutes for additional activities (e.g., English learners would engage in 10 minutes of reading or speaking practice) - 5 minutes for going over assigned homework for the next session The length of the lesson can be adjusted to suit the student's needs. My sessions are open to students of all learning levels! I don't just teach material; as a student, I draw from firsthand knowledge to guide my students through their educational journeys with tips, advice, and goal-setting.
