About Poppy
As someone who is extremely passionate about what they do, I would love nothing more than to share my knowledge and experience with others.
I think architecture is one of those rare professions that is the perfect mix of art, maths, science, history, geography, psychology and so many more facets of life coming together to create something that will be standing for longer than us.
I also believe that the more you learn, the more you start to notice the little idiosyncrasies of the world around you... whether it's walking down the street and noticing a little detail and wondering why the designer chose to do that; constantly looking around to find inspiration for your next project; or simply learning about different cultures and industries through developing a brief with a client; architecture will open your eyes to the world around you.
You have picked a truly brilliant field to study, however the road can be daunting. I can help to take the pressure off, so you have more time for the fantastic aspects, and less of the all nighters!!

With almost nine years of experience in the architectural industry, mainly focused on construction drawings I understand the intricacies of what we do.
I also can absolutely relate to the stressful environment that comes with the territory of studying architecture. Having to balance design with functionality, structural integrity, all the while thinking through an exciting concept can be a very overwhelming!
I have a keen eye for design and detail resolution and would be able to help you think through a concept then find solutions for the construction of the building. I will also be happy to proofread through drawings, and answer any questions you may have about your project.
