About Palesa
I am a second year nursing student at Wits University. I have been assisting and giving English lessons informally for about six months, I am in the process of completing my TEFL 180 hour course.
I am young, compassionate and patient. I have an interest in music; both vocals and instrumentals. I am a firm advocate for social justice and youth empowerment.

My teaching method depends on the age group I am teaching. For children, I use creativity and art, as well as educational games to deliver the lesson.
For older children (8-12), the above mentioned is incorporated, with a more "formal" approach.
With teenagers the lesson content is much more "mature" by allowing the students to lead some lessons in order for them to feel like they have some sense of control. This is important due to the transition phase from teenager to young adolescence.
