About Mahima

Hello,
I am a registered nurse currently working in acute care, with a strong academic and professional foundation in both public health and adult nursing. Before beginning my nursing journey, I spent over six years working in healthcare, where I developed a deep appreciation for patient centred care, multidisciplinary teamwork, and the complexities of health systems. That experience played a vital role in shaping my decision to advance my career and pursue nursing.

I hold a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Public Health, where I gained a solid understanding of the broader social, economic, and environmental factors that influence health outcomes. This degree helped me develop a population-level perspective on health, which continues to inform the way I approach individual patient care. Following this, I completed a Master of Science in Adult Nursing (Pre-Registration), where I honed my clinical skills and built a strong foundation in evidence-based practice. This program challenged me to think critically, act compassionately, and advocate effectively for adult patients in a range of healthcare settings. Today, I am passionate about delivering high-quality, empathetic care in acute environments. I am especially interested in the intersection between public health and clinical nursing—how we can better bridge the gap between community health initiatives and frontline care to improve patient outcomes holistically.

About the lesson

I understand first hand how demanding nursing school is both academically and emotionally. Balancing coursework, OSCE prep, placements, and personal wellbeing is no small task. It is a constant juggle between trying to achieve good grades, show up for 12-hour shifts, revise, write assignments, and still find time to look after yourself. I have been there and I know how heavy it can all feel. That is exactly why I have created this space. I offer 1:1 tutoring and mentoring for student nurses who want guidance that’s clear, supportive, and grounded in real-life experience. Whether you are stuck on a topic, stressed about an OSCE, or just need someone to help simplify things - I am here. My goal is to help you succeed without burning out, to build your confidence, clarify the content, and remind you that you are more capable than you think.
