About Zara
I am a dedicated piano tutor with over 9 years of teaching and performance experience. I hold a Licentiate of Music in Piano (LMusA or equivalent), which gives my teaching a strong academic foundation. I guide students through ABRSM and Rockschool exams with clear structure and focus. I also support learners at university level. My lessons balance solid technique with musical understanding. I believe progress comes from both discipline and creativity. Each student learns at a different pace. I adapt my teaching to suit their goals and abilities. I am passionate about unlocking every student’s creative and technical potential. I help them build confidence at the piano. Music should feel challenging but rewarding. My aim is to help students grow into expressive and skilled pianists.

I offer piano lessons that balance structure, creativity, and enjoyment. I teach clear music theory alongside strong listening skills. Students learn how notes, chords, and rhythms work together. I also focus on expressive playing and musical feeling. To keep lessons engaging, I use movement-based rhythm games and hands-on activities. Traditional piano methods are blended with creative play and modern digital tools. I support students who love writing music as well as those who enjoy producing and shaping sound. Each lesson is adapted to the learner’s pace and goals. I encourage curiosity and confidence at every stage. Mistakes are part of learning. My aim is to help students grow into skilled, expressive, and motivated pianists.
