About Aiko

Coffee and animal lover, born and raised in Osaka, Japan. With Japanese mother and American father, I had a chance to be surrounded in both English and Japanese language since I was little. *Native in Japanese, English is my second language
With genuine interests in other cultures, I have lived abroad as an exchange student in Melbourne when I was high school, and also studied at university in Sweden for 2 years .
I love meeting people from other cultures with different languages, and introducing Japanese culture.

Since graduating from one of the top universities in Japan, I have 8 years of experience working in a management / IT consulting firm using Japanese as primary working language, so if you need help with business speaking and writing, please contact me for details!

About the lesson

Hi! I’m a native Japanese speaker based in Perth. I support Year 11–12 students studying Japanese (ATAR / school assessments) with a focus on speaking + writing — the parts that actually lift your marks.

Ready for school year 2026?

What we’ll do in lessons (60 mins)

Writing feedback & corrections (essays, short responses, school tasks)

Speaking practice (role plays, responses, fluency + accuracy)

Use-case ideas for new grammar you’re learning at school (how to actually use it naturally)

Topic/theme brainstorming + building stronger answers

Practice with similar themes so you feel confident in assessments

How it works

Bring your school materials (assessment task sheets, class notes, rubrics, past work, vocab lists). I’ll tailor the lesson to what you’re doing at school — no random textbook lessons.

Important note

I don’t usually teach grammar from scratch (e.g., beginner-level basics).
This is best for students who already have the fundamentals and want to level up performance.

I’ve supported Year 12 ATAR students before and I love helping students feel confident and prepared.

Furthermore, since she used to halp her parents's kinds English school, she has great skills to deal with children.
Personally my favorite for her is that she is always on time.
