About Judith
Two decades of teaching have convinced me that most singers are underestimated and undertrained because too many studios prioritize comfort over genuine growth. I trained under demanding teachers myself who never let me get away with sloppy technique, and I am deeply grateful for that discipline even though it was uncomfortable at the time. My studio is not for everyone, and I say that plainly upfront because I would rather work with committed students than pad my numbers with people who are not serious. I track every student's technical progress meticulously across our time together because I believe accountability is what actually separates real improvement from wishful thinking. Parents and adult students alike tell me they chose me specifically because they wanted a coach who would push them rather than simply cheer them on. After twenty years and eight hundred sixty students, I have zero interest in softening this approach because it consistently works.

I run a tight structured studio built on twenty years of proving that discipline beats talent every single time when it comes to real vocal development. There is no drifting through vague warm ups here every exercise has a specific purpose and I expect students to know exactly why we are doing it before we move on. Homework is checked thoroughly at the start of every lesson and half hearted practice gets called out directly because pretending otherwise does nobody any favors. I set firm technical benchmarks for each stage of development and a student does not move to harder repertoire until the fundamentals are genuinely solid not just passable. Mistakes get corrected immediately and precisely rather than glossed over with vague encouragement because vague feedback produces vague singers. I am not interested in making every lesson feel fun for its own sake I am interested in making singers who can actually deliver under pressure. Students who stick with this approach come out the other side technically strong and mentally tough in a way easier lessons rarely produce.
