About Lily

I am a performer based in New York City and a recent graduate of the Etobicoke School of the Arts as a Music Theatre Major. I have combined my experience as a singer and actor with my work as a dance teacher and academic tutor to compose a teaching method that is positive, effective, and engaging.

About the lesson

As an educator, I am passionate about helping my students discover their authentic voice through their artistry. I offer acting through song, monologue coaching, and audition preparation. My classes are a safe and non-judgmental environment. I meet each and every one of my students where they are, and teach them to approach their work with a growth mindset. My classes also focus on utilizing well-being practices for performers. I work with all ages and specialize in those who are newer to theatre and want to take their training to the next level.

Perfect! Lily is truly a gem of a vocal teacher and musical theater expert. Her energy is magnetic, and she is kind, sweet, and incredibly patient. Working with her has been an absolute joy. Lily has created an amazing environment for me to feel comfortable and share my art. She has helped me level up and bring my performance to a level that was perfect for my audition. Thanks to her guidance, I felt confident walking into two Broadway auditions. I highly recommend booking with this magical and talented teacher.

Lily Davids is seriously the most incredible person I've ever gotten to work with. From the moment you first work with her, she truly gets to know more about who you are and the ways to expand your versatility. She's helped me develop so much more confidence in my performances and being able to get rid of many actor's bad habits. Her super #NickyPicky notes are always the best. Not only with working with her on expanding my art, Lily is such an incredible person to talk to about mental health. Before we even sing (or even warm up), Lily is so amazing being able to share her experiences and analogies in being able for many of us to control our mental health. She truly understands how we artists feel.... even when things don't go as planned..... Lily is so great to talk to. She knows how to make a person feel enlightened and being able to use our personal experiences in our performances. The greatest teacher, guidance counselor, and the ultimate Broadway Bestie EVER!!!
