About Nicolas
I have a bachelor's degree in English and a master of arts in teaching. After three years of teaching high school in Texas, I now teach in New Orleans. I have some tutoring experience from when I was in college, but I want to now apply my teaching experience to one-on-one learning.

For my full-time students, I teach annotations and vocabulary to set expectations to improve their reading comprehension. Then, I showcase how to dissect literature focusing on how structural elements create theme and tone. Teaching writing is equally important, and getting a student to build an organization and master self-revision is the best way to increase their writing ability. As a tutor, I will specify that style to quickly assess my student's needs and work on the weaker areas while building on their strengths.
