About Makyah
My name is Makyah and I am a neuroscience and Korean language major looking to help others learn and grow by being patient, dependable, and encouraging. Through my learning and tutoring experience, I have learned everyone learns differently, so I ensure to take the time to adjust to each student's needs. My goal is to make learning feel comfortable, positive, and rewarding.

My classes are for people of all ages! my teaching method is patient, encouraging, and personalized to the needs of each student to help build confidence and strengthen their skills. A typical lesson will include a review on the information we have gone over, with a focused lesson plan and some hands-on practice, ending with a short activity or game and a recap before we set the goal for our next lesson.
