About Shona
I’m a Depute Head Teacher with 26 years of experience supporting young people, championing inclusion, and working alongside neurodivergent learners and their families.
I’ve created NeuroNest because the world our young people are growing up in is changing rapidly. The pressures they face — socially, emotionally, academically, and digitally — are greater than ever.
For neurodivergent young people, these demands can feel overwhelming without the right understanding and support.
My sessions provide a space for practical strategies, insight, and encouragement.
Support for neurodivergent young people
Practical strategies for home and school
Guidance for adults supporting neurodivergent individuals
Honest conversations about inclusion, wellbeing, and belonging
My aim is simple: to help create understanding, build confidence, and support every individual to thrive!

At NeuroNest, coaching sessions provide a supportive, understanding space where young people with neurodiversity can build confidence, develop practical strategies, and work towards personal goals. Sessions are tailored to individual strengths and challenges, helping participants improve organisation, emotional wellbeing, communication, self-advocacy, and independence. I work collaboratively, celebrating progress and empowering each young person to thrive in education, work, and everyday life.
