Saw him playing guitar downtown, sat down with him and had a great conversation. Very down to earth guy who is incredible at guitar, almost near mastery. I signed up for lessons and in a month I improved more than in 3 months with my previous teacher. If you want to actually learn how to play guitar sign up with this guy. He is a patient teacher who is uplifting and kind towards his students while also disciplining them.

I’m super into old school hip hop and wanted to learn some of the samples used on guitar, Curtis was able to figure out the pattern on the spot and show me the tabs, he’s super flexible with genres to learn and it’s a very friendly environment.

Curtis is such a skilled guitar teacher! He’s very communicative and patient. Since I started practicing with him, my guitar skills have improved a lot. I would recommend him as a teacher to anyone.
