I offer relaxed and personalized Brazilian Portuguese conversation practice for intermediate and advanced learners who want to speak more naturally and confidently.
My approach is simple: you talk, and I help you communicate better. Instead of following a rigid textbook or spending the lesson on grammar exercises, we have real conversations about topics that interest you. I ask questions, keep the conversation flowing, and encourage you to express your ideas as much as possible.
During our conversation, I may point out a word, expression, pronunciation, or way of saying something that could sound more natural in Brazilian Portuguese. I don't want constant corrections to interrupt your conversation, so I focus on the things that are most useful and relevant to you.
There is no fixed lesson format. We can talk about your daily life, work, hobbies, travel, Brazilian culture, movies, food, relationships, current events, or simply whatever you feel like talking about that day. If you prefer, you can also tell me about something you have been doing, share a story, or talk about a topic you are interested in.
What sets my lessons apart is the opportunity to practice authentic Brazilian Portuguese in a relaxed and natural environment. My goal is for you to feel comfortable speaking, making mistakes, asking questions, and expressing yourself without feeling like you are taking a traditional language class.
These lessons are best suited for intermediate and advanced students who already understand some Portuguese and mainly want more speaking practice. They are especially useful for learners who understand Portuguese but still feel shy, hesitant, or unsure when it is time to actually speak.
