About Martha
I am an Honours Psychology student with the academic goal of pursuing my Teaching Certificate and becoming an elementary school teacher. I have over 9 years of experience in the educational field. My experience includes 4 years of working at Kumon Canada, 3 years of babysitting and volunteering at a daycare, and over 2 years providing private tutoring lessons.

I like to think of my teaching method as a ladder made of rope. It has a basic structure and includes essential core concepts (the ladder shape) but it is also flexible and able to adapt within its structure to the learning style of the student (rope is malleable, not rigid). In the end, the student learns all the concepts they require to excel but they learn them in an environment that is best suited to their needs.
