About Aqil
Hi! I'm Aqil, an online tutor originally from Jakarta, Indonesia. I've been holding online classes on several platforms for almost a year now and have received positive reviews from learners.
I hold a Master's in Political Science from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and I've been working in various sectors over the last 7 years. I attended a 3-year language program prior to uni, focusing mostly on English (CEFR Level: C1), as well as Spanish (DELE B1) and German.
I offer nuanced and effective pedagogical approaches in my tutoring. I'll equip you with tips and tricks to tackle challenges in acquiring Indonesian and introduce you to alternative paths to reach fluency.

To provide a solid, well-structured foundation in essential areas, I use several self-made tutoring resources (aligned w the standardized curriculum), supplemented by contemporary, authentic materials such as podcasts, short videos, and popular articles.
To enhance your fluency and accuracy, we'll cover variety of topics in speaking practices. I'll introduce you to daily expressions, phrases, idioms, as well as some slangs - allowing you to familiarize yourself with the practical use of the language in real-life situation.
