About Gabriela

I have been teaching in the college class room for the past decade. I teach languages and literature, including freshman composition in English and all levels of German, beginning with the introductory course and ending with the final course in the sequence, German 6. The latter is a literature survey course taught in German.
Many students spend a year in Germany at some point during their time in college.

About the lesson

Ph.D., Literature from the University of California.
Masters in English from California State University.
I have worked comparatively in German and English with a focus on the 19th century. My dissertation project was a German to English translation of a novel.
