About Alba

My name is Alba. I am currently living in the beautiful town of Byron Bay, Australia. I moved out here September 2023 with the Work and Holiday Visa and have no plan but to stay long term! I have dual citizenship with United States of America and Spain, as my dad is North American and my mom is Spanish. I would like to offer Spanish conversation classes to contribute my skills to the community, as I'm very lucky to have been raised between the state of Colorado in USA and Murcia, southern-east coast city in Spain. This has broadened my multicultural experience since I was a child and it's also made me fluent in both Spanish and English.

About the lesson

My personal approach to private tutoring revolves fully around my student and their needs and goals. I adjust to your level and will work with your strengths to make the most out of our hour/hour and a half conversation class. My techniques and teaching methodology are practical and interactive. I like to use daily news/articles as subjects of our conversation (both in reading and listening format). My lessons are for any age—I have experience teaching kids from age of 3 yrs old all the way to grown adults of over 50 yrs old. One key element of my classes is that we speak Spanish 100% of the time and even though English is also my native language, you will only hear me speak Spanish.
