About Katia
I am a violinist and native spanish and croatian speaker with a Master´s Degree in Music from the University of Chile .Since I finished my studies I give spanish and croatian lessons in person and online ,I am currently living in Sydney .

My teaching method is direct ,rightly called the natural method that places the emphasis on using the target language versus the learner´s native language .In the direct method ,the printed language and text are kept away from the learner for as long as posible.Oral proficiency is the main goal of learning the language, and this is achieved in this manner .When the printed word is introduced for reading, the learner should already have a good grasp of the spoken language.Learning about writing and spelling should then follow reading, and finally gramar and translation
