I have taken French and Portuguese classes, so I understand how challenging the first few months can be. First, I like focusing on basic vocabulary and greetings. Then, developing conversations and working on pronunciation. And lastly, working with writing and grammar, which can be challenging for students who have no prior knowledge of accents and such. I like keeping classes interactive and then assigning small tasks to work on and discuss on next lesson.
