About Valeria
Hi! I’m Valeria, a native Spanish speaker from Peru currently based in New York. I’m a university graduate with an international professional background and experience working in multicultural environments.
Spanish is my native language, and I understand how important it is to learn a language in a way that feels natural, practical, and enjoyable. I love connecting with people from different cultures, and I bring that same openness and patience to my lessons.
I’m responsible, organized, friendly, and committed to creating a comfortable environment where students can practice without feeling judged or afraid of making mistakes. Whether your goal is to improve your Spanish for everyday life, travel, work, or simply to communicate more confidently, I’ll be happy to help you progress at your own pace.

My approach to teaching Spanish is practical, personalized, and focused on real communication. As a native Spanish speaker from Peru, I want my students to learn not only grammar and vocabulary, but also how Spanish is actually spoken and used in everyday life.
I adapt each lesson to the student's level, interests, and goals. A typical lesson may combine conversation practice, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, listening exercises, and real-life situations. Depending on your goals, we can practice Spanish for travel, work, social situations, or simply becoming more confident in conversation.
I believe making mistakes is a natural part of learning a language, so my lessons are designed to be friendly, patient, and comfortable. I will correct you when necessary, explain why, and help you express the same idea more naturally.
As a university graduate and native speaker with an international professional background, I can also help students who want to improve their Spanish for professional environments and communication with Spanish-speaking colleagues or communities.
My lessons are ideal for beginners and intermediate students, adults, travelers, professionals, and anyone who wants to become more comfortable speaking and understanding Spanish in real-life situations.
