About Irina
I am native speaker of Russian, and a fluent English speaker. I have a background in Film Studies and Computer Science. I have more than 5 years of language teaching experience, and I am an avid language learner myself.

I plan the lessons so that they fit your needs. My first question is going to be what are your objectives, time resources, and based on this we will find the plan that will fit you the best.
I also make sure that you not only learn, but enjoy the experience. Relaxed and enjoyable learning is what makes studying most effective.
In my classes, I will give you:
- an understanding of sentence construction in the Russian language;
- a thorough understanding of Russian grammar logics;
- a vocabulary that you will need in everyday life in Russia and Russian speaking countries;
- word formation strategies;
- an acquaintance with Russian culture (literature, history of Russian arts and cinema).

I started learning Russian with Irina around 6 months ago now. She is an excellent teacher; flexible, accommodating, and adaptive to a learning style that suits me. I've progressed significantly since starting with her and I hope to sit an A2+ level exam shortly which she will help me prepare for. Couldn't recommend her more.
