About Tatiana

I am a native Russian speaker with a strong academic background and a passion for teaching. I hold a Master’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Birmingham, which has helped me develop clear and structured ways of explaining complex ideas.

I enjoy helping students build confidence and progress step by step. My approach is patient, supportive and organised, focusing on making the learning process both effective and enjoyable.

I adapt each lesson to the student’s level, goals and pace, ensuring that everyone feels comfortable practising and improving their Russian skills.

I look forward to helping students develop their language abilities and discover more about the Russian language and culture.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed to be practical, structured and engaging, helping students build confidence in speaking Russian while also understanding grammar clearly.

I usually begin by assessing the student’s level, goals and motivation for learning Russian. Based on this, I tailor the lessons to focus on what is most useful for the student, whether that is conversation, grammar, pronunciation or reading.

During lessons I combine several techniques:
• Conversational practice to help students feel comfortable speaking
• Clear explanations of grammar with practical examples
• Vocabulary building through real-life topics
• Interactive exercises and short dialogues

My goal is to make lessons structured but relaxed, so students feel comfortable asking questions and practising the language.

A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes and usually includes:
• review of previous material
• learning new vocabulary or grammar
• speaking practice and exercises

My lessons are suitable for:
• complete beginners
• students with basic knowledge who want to improve conversation
• adults interested in Russian language and culture

Lessons are conducted online, which makes scheduling flexible and convenient.
