About Elizaveta

My name is Lisa. I am a native Russian speaker and an experienced teacher. I'm in love with the Russian language and I want to share this love with you. I am a certified linguist, that’s why I am also constantly improving foreign languages and I know how I can help you. I have taken the Goethe-Institut DLL4 continuing education course, and I also attend teaching method seminars, read methodological literature, and interact with other experienced teachers to get their experience. I practice the acquired knowledge in my classes, that’s why I sometimes experiment and try something new.

About the lesson

How do I work?

- I use a communicative approach that includes the practice of speaking using active and passive vocabulary, listening, writing, reading and grammar;
- I work with phonetics because your pronunciation affects the listening comprehension;
- I use modern technologies for comfortable online studying such as an interactive whiteboard, presentations, games and my own materials;
- I find an individual approach to each student because we are all different and learn the material in different ways;
- I take into account the individual needs of each student. For example, if you want to learn slang or you are interested in Russian culture, I am always ready to help and give you this knowledge.
- I use modern materials for my lessons, for example, we can watch Russian TikTok and discuss some situations.

Who do I work with?

I specialize in teaching beginners, but I am also interested in working with those who continue to learn Russian.

Perfect! Liza is very kind, humorous, and her teaching methods are very efficient. She is honest with her students and prioritizes pronunciation so you can be sure you are doing good if she says you are. Russian is not an easy language but Liza makes it fun which makes me look forward to every lesson we have!
