About Maria
I am a Comparative Literature graduate and full-time English teacher. While my undergraduate education was completed in English, my native language is actually Romanian. I have completed part of my education in Romanian and have learnt the grammar rules and conventions, on top of being a fluent speaker.

My lessons depend on each student and their needs. With language lessons, I normally choose a key theme and introduce vocabulary. Then I move onto relevant grammar rules and language practice. Finally, I set a few exercises which my students can do with my assistance at first, then remove the help in order to offer the opportunity for independent practice. Homework is set for further practice and consolidation of the knowledge introduced in the lesson.
