About Ângela

I am a Portuguese native speaker (PT), and IB graduate (IB English Language and Literature, IB Italian ab initio). I studied Portuguese in Portugal until I was 16 years old and moved to the UK. Currently, I am studying Biomedical engineering at the University of Warwick and I have worked part-time at a nursery. I have always loved reading and teaching, and recently got the grade 8 in Harp.

About the lesson

- I teach 30-60 minutes lessons for beginners, which are tailored to each student. - And/Or 30 minutes conversation practice lessons for all levels, which are also tailored for each student and their conversational level. In these, we work specifically on pronunciation, but we can also go through some vocabulary and grammar, if necessary. - All ages.

Perfect! I have had 10 lessons with Angela, the lesson structure is well thought out and challenging. New topics always incorporate previous learnings which helps greatly. Angela has a technique for teaching that encourages you to try without feeling self-conscious. I find that the hour passes by extremely quickly and at the end you feel quite exhausted but very positive.
