About Rita
I am a Parisian living in Vancouver, Canada. You'll quickly discover that my path is an uncommon one. One that has enriched me as a person and a professional.
I am a certified teacher, a performing artist and recently, the founder of a linguistic program that aligns language learning with movement.
I first graduated from the Université La Sorbonne, in Paris, and then continued my studies in Linguistics and Education at UBC and SFU, in Vancouver.
My love for the arts, brought me to New York City as well, where I was awarded a degree in the Performing Arts, from the AMDA Conservatory.
I am now a cross-curricular teacher, certified to teach French, English, Dance and Drama.

My specialty is to create an interactive environment while learning a language. I base my way of teaching on research, on results of my students and of course, on my own experience when learning new languages: I speak French, Greek, English and German fluently, but understand Italian, Spanish and Portuguese. This vast knowledge has given me a deep insight on how the brain absorbs a new linguistic code.
