About Lauren
Having grown up in Italy with an English mother, I am bilingual Italian-English. My mother is also an English teacher in Italy, so growing up I would often attend her private lessons to help out. I then started holding some private lessons of my own, teaching young kids basic English, which I did until I moved to the UK five years ago to study psychology. My background has given me great exposure to language teaching techniques. I would love to apply these skills by passing on my knowledge and passion for the Italian language to others.

The first lesson will be about finding out about your needs, so that the tutoring sessions can be tailor made for you and your level of Italian. All the sessions will include plenty of speaking and conversation practice, with opportunities for you to speak in Italian. From learning about grammar rules and practicing these rules, to topics of conversation or functional phrases and expressions, the lessons can go at your own pace.
