About Yufei

Hi! I'm a native Mandarin speaker from China, now living in the UK. I speak both Mandarin and English, so I understand the challenges English speakers often face when learning Chinese.

My lessons focus on helping you communicate more naturally and confidently. Rather than only following a textbook, I aim to create a relaxed environment where you can practise speaking, improve your listening, pronunciation and grammar, and learn how Mandarin is actually used in everyday life.

Whether you're learning Chinese for travel, work, personal interest, or simply to become more fluent, I'm happy to adapt each lesson to your goals and pace.

About the lesson

Every lesson is tailored to your needs and learning goals.

In our first lesson, we'll discuss your current level, what you'd like to improve, and the best way for us to work together. Lessons may include conversation practice, pronunciation feedback, grammar support, vocabulary building, and explanations of Chinese culture and natural expressions.

If you're mainly looking to improve your speaking and listening with guidance from a native speaker, I'd be happy to help. While I can support HSK learners, my lessons are focused on practical communication rather than intensive exam preparation.
