About Ryoji

Hello, I’m Ryoji, a passionate educator and current graduate student pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science at the University of Sydney. With over 6 years of teaching experience in Japanese high schools, I have a proven track record of helping students achieve their goals through personalized and engaging lessons.

As a certified teacher for grades 1–12, I specialize in language education and have a deep understanding of effective teaching strategies. My bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English allows me to bridge cultural and linguistic gaps, making lessons both accessible and enriching.

My Approach

I combine traditional teaching methods with modern tools, such as interactive educational software and custom-designed lesson plans. I emphasize understanding fundamental concepts while integrating real-world applications to make lessons more relevant and engaging. As a former student council advisor and an experienced field trip chaperone, I also incorporate creative and experiential learning elements when appropriate.

• Extensive teaching experience in Saitama Prefecture high schools, specializing in English as a foreign language.
• Multilingual: Native Japanese speaker with fluency in English (TOEFL 86, TOEIC 845).
• Proficient in using educational software (Microsoft Office) and continually upgrading skills in modern technologies.
