About Saki

Konnichiwa! Born in Yokohama in 1991, I completed my Master's degree in English Literature and Linguistics in Kanagawa. After working in Tokyo for ten years, I relocated to Bristol, where I currently reside and work. I deeply appreciate Bristol's rich culture in music, art, and lifestyle, and I truly enjoy my daily life here.

As a friendly, detail-oriented, and communicative person, I place great value on respectful and engaging conversation. My goal as a tutor is to share the rich depth of Japanese culture, traditions, and history with anyone who holds an interest in Japan.

I am committed to creating a well-structured, supportive environment tailored to your goals. Together, we will steadily build your Japanese proficiency while exploring the topics you care about most. I look forward to supporting your learning journey.

About the lesson

Konnichiwa! I am a native Japanese speaker living and working here in Bristol for three years.

My primary goal as a tutor is to share the rich depth of Japanese culture, history, and traditions with people who love Japan. Language is deeply connected to how we see the world, and I believe the best way to learn Japanese is through the topics you are truly passionate about - whether that’s planning your dream trip, diving into anime, or discovering local traditions and history.

I don’t just want to "teach" you; I want to explore these interests together with you and help you discover the true beauty of Japan along the way.
