I personally would proceed lessons focusing on conversations. A large part of the lesson will be talking to each other in Japanese. This will help students train both listening and speaking skills, which are arguably the most crucial parts of learning a language. Along the way, I would Also correct grammar, suggest new vocabulary, and teach you some “hard” skills.
I am, however, very flexible, and would be able to adapt to any of your preferences. Focuses can also be shifted on reading, writing, or a mix of them!
