About Stefano
I was born and raised in Umbria (the so-called Green Heart of Italy). In 2017, I moved to Scotland, where I later gained a PhD in Archaeology at the University of Edinburgh. Since 2013, I have authored several publications in Italian, including five books. Still relatively young (late 30s, with the 40s not too far ahead), I am an easy-going and sociable person, with a variety of interests and experiences, which can easily generate some good conversations.

My lessons are engaging, flexible, and designed to help learners build confidence and fluency in a supportive environment, whether they are complete beginners or looking to refine their existing language skills. Lessons normally last 1 hour, and can address all technical aspects of a language: vocabulary building, pronunciation and grammar... After understanding the student's needs and the level of experience, I build a tailored teaching programme focused on main areas of improvement. In the last 10 years, I have delivered tutorials, lessons and training sessions to learners aged 10 to 90.
