About Aslaug
I was born and raised in Iceland, I moved over to the UK in 2016. I am fluent in both Icelandic and English as well as having a very good grasp of the German and Danish languages. I know the struggles of learning Icelandic from scratch as I have taught my partner the language.

I have a lot of experience learning other languages and I know how difficult it can be to learn Icelandic from teaching it to my partner. I emphasize vocabulary and pronunciation as well as understanding the history behind the language, where sayings come from and what they mean - why we Icelandic people use the phrases that we use. I believe this will all help with your proficiency and in having a conversation with a native Icelander.
