About Maria

I am a patient, supportive, and enthusiastic language teacher who truly enjoys helping beginners feel comfortable and confident from their very first Greek lesson. With 15 years of experience teaching students from all over the world, I understand the challenges of learning a new language and know how to make the process clear, practical, and enjoyable. My goal is not only to teach Greek, but to help you feel confident using it in real life.

About the lesson

Hello! My name is Maria, and I am a native Greek speaker and a qualified English teacher, graduated from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), Greece.
I teach Modern Greek to beginners, helping students take their very first steps in the language with confidence and clarity. My lessons are ideal for those who want to learn Greek for everyday communication, travel, relocation, or personal interest.
With extensive experience teaching learners from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, I adapt each lesson to the student’s pace and learning style. As a trained language teacher, I focus on:
• Clear and simple explanations
• Speaking and listening from the very beginning
• Essential grammar and practical vocabulary
• Correct pronunciation and real-life usage

My goal is to make learning Greek effective, structured, and enjoyable, even for complete beginners.

I look forward to helping you start your Greek language journey!
