About Caro
Hi! I’m a native German speaker based in Glasgow, and I’ve called the UK home for nearly 10 years now - so I know both worlds pretty well.
I have a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Germany and a Master’s from the University of St Andrews, which means I know what it’s like to study and work in a second language. I’ve also lectured university students in business and psychology in both German and English, so I’m used to making more complex topics feel manageable.
I enjoy working with all kinds of learners - children, teenagers, and adults - and I always try to keep lessons relaxed and supportive, so you can build confidence at your own pace.
I also like bringing a bit of culture into lessons, whether that’s everyday life in Germany, traditions, humour, or the small things that make the language feel more natural.

My lessons are relaxed and tailored to you - whether you’re just starting out, preparing for an exam, or simply want to feel more confident speaking.
I focus on making German practical and useful, using examples so you can apply what you learn naturally in everyday life. We can take things step by step or move a bit faster, depending on what suits you best.
Lessons are 60 minutes and available online or in person in Glasgow. I offer a free first session so we can talk through your goals and see what would work best for you.
