About Timea

Hello! My name is Timea. I am a native German speaker who grew up in Germany, where I completed my Abitur—the highest academic school-leaving certificate—with a strong focus on humanities and languages. Currently, I am in my final year of a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science in the United States. I’ve worked in professional German-language settings including the European Parliament and leading media organizations in Germany. Whether you’re a complete beginner, brushing up for travel, preparing for an exam, or looking to sharpen your conversational skills, I’d love to help you get there!

I tailor every lesson to your goals, interests, and pace, because I believe learning a language should feel exciting, not overwhelming. I love working with students at every level and tailoring each lesson to your personal goals, interests, and learning style. From grammar and vocabulary to pronunciation and real-life conversation practice, we’ll work together at your pace to make German feel natural and enjoyable.
