About Enock
I was born and raised in Hamburg, Germany, before moving to the UK to study Biomedical Science at undergraduate level and later a Master's in Public Health. Since then, I've spent six years working in the pharmaceutical industry, much of it focused on the DACH region, and I currently work as a Global Medical Affairs Excellence Lead in the UK. German has been part of both my personal and professional life for as long as I can remember, and I genuinely enjoy helping people build the skills and confidence to use it too. Tutoring lets me combine that passion with the chance to see someone's progress firsthand, which is something I find really rewarding.

My approach focuses on practical, real-world German, the kind you'd actually use living, working, or travelling in Germany. As a native speaker with hands-on professional experience communicating in German in a workplace setting, I teach language the way it's genuinely spoken, not just from a textbook. Lessons typically run 60 minutes and are structured around your goals, whether that's building conversational confidence, mastering grammar fundamentals, or developing workplace-ready German. I tailor each session to the student in front of me: complete beginners get patient, step-by-step foundations, while intermediate and advanced learners get pushed with more nuanced vocabulary, idioms, and real conversation practice. I welcome learners of all ages and levels, from those starting from zero to those refining fluency for personal, academic, or professional reasons.
