About Ashita

Hello, my name is Ashita. I am a native German speaker, born and brought up in Munich, Bavaria. I have attended the Privatgymnasium Dr. Florian Überreiter in Munich and now I am currently studying Biomedical Science as an international student at London Metropolitan University.

I have always had a good command over many languages such as German, English, Hindi, Latin and Punjabi as my origin is in India. Hence I would love to help out in the subject German of all levels. As a biomedical student I would also love to help out in basic science subjects.

About the lesson

Throughout my school career I had a tutor for about 10 years who has always supported and motivated me. In university, I learnt that it is not always the topics I enjoy but the professors who make it interesting. I try to bring this knowledge to my tutoring experience and do everything I can to make learning a pleasant experience. I use lessons plans in which I usually introduce the topic in a fun and creative way, then explicitly teach the materiaI. Afterwards I always ensure time for students to practice the material on their own. Of course, this method can be adjusted based on the subject and student’s individual needs. I always enjoy working with kids and I look forward to getting to know each student I work with and as a tutor, my goal is to untangle any academic problem we encounter together.

I have a year tutoring experience of 2-3 students of 5th and 8th grade with about 1-2 times a week. I did not just help with the homework but also practiced their topics additionally.

I want to benefit the students I work with as much as possible, therefore welcome any resources or suggestions students or parents can provide. I am easy to reach and will always provide fast responses. Feel free to contact me with any additional questions or to schedule a lesson.
