About Gregor
Hi, I'm Gregor — a native German speaker from Bremen, now living in New Zealand. I'm passionate about languages, travel, and connecting with people from different cultures. I’ve always loved explaining things clearly and helping others grow, which naturally led me to teaching. Though I’m just beginning my journey as a German tutor, I bring patience, curiosity, and a genuine love for the language to every lesson. I’ve taught my partner Zoe and realized how much fun it is to make German feel approachable and even a bit playful. Outside of teaching, I enjoy cycling, cooking, and learning new languages myself — so I understand the challenges and rewards that come with language learning. I’m reliable, open-minded, and committed to making you feel supported in every step of your learning. Let’s turn German into something you look forward to — not something you fear. Hi, I’m Gregor, a native German speaker who loves sharing my language and culture with others. While I’m new to tutoring professionally, I’ve been teaching my partner Zoe, and I’ve discovered how much I enjoy helping others learn German in a relaxed and supportive way.
My lessons are conversational, practical, and tailored to your goals — whether you’re just starting out, want to improve your pronunciation, or need help understanding grammar. I focus on creating a comfortable atmosphere where you can build confidence and have fun with the language.
Lessons usually last 60 minutes and are great for beginners, travelers, or anyone curious about the German language. I’m patient, enthusiastic, and happy to explain things clearly — no pressure, just progress.
