About Lea

After living in the UK for three years, I absolutely understand how challenging it can be to reach a high level when learning a second language. Many people who had foreign languages at school are often frustrated when they realise on holidays how little they can speak after years of practising. These experiences can be particularly discouraging for beginners, but even if you are already advanced it will not be easy to master colloquial words, slang or various accents. From my own experience, I can tell how difficult it can be to not give up, particularly when you are all on your own. Although the key to learning a new language is to be ambitious and disciplined, the role of a teacher should not be underestimated. Knowing that there is someone who has your back when things get difficult might be the essential thing that keeps you going instead of giving up. Therefore, I believe that having a tutor will increase your success in learning foreign languages while making them more enjoyable. This is my motivation behind becoming a tutor myself, as helping others to tap their full potential sounds like a fulfilling thing to do for me.

About the lesson

As a native speaker, I am not only able to teach German in regards to Grammar and vocabulary, but also let the students get an insight into the culture and traditions of Germany. In this way, each lesson is designed to support students in gaining a better understanding of the German language with the help of interesting facts about the country. Additionally, I aim to adapt the lesson to the student's individual needs which allow me to be flexible regarding the content and time of the lesson. Generally, we will work with learning books, worksheets and fun activities depending on the age and interests of the student.

Despite the fact that I am new on super prof, I am certain that I will be of great support on your learning journey, as I have taught German privately before.

I can definitely strongly recommend Lea as a German tutor. Lea teaches two of my children (sons aged 10 and 12) every weekend. I've seen clear progress with both children. Lea always keeps them fully motivated and engaged throughout their lessons, which are always highly interactive. Her methods for improving German are very efficient so you get the most from the time with her and the assignments she gives you. To sum up, I can strongly recommend her as a reliable and experienced German tutor!
