About Kira

Hi! I'm Kira, an international Master’s student at Warwick from Berlin, Germany! Having lived in Germany my whole life, I bring not only fluent language skills but also authentic cultural knowledge. As I have a bit of spare time during my studies, I offer German tutoring for students of all levels. My lessons are practical and tailored to your goals – whether you want to improve conversation, grammar, writing, or prepare for exams. I focus on helping you gain confidence and make real progress step by step. A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, but I’m happy to adjust the length to suit your needs. My teaching style is friendly and interactive, with a mix of speaking, listening, reading, and writing exercises. I also provide tips for learning between lessons, so you keep improving outside of class. I have experience helping students of different ages and levels, and I enjoy creating a supportive environment where you feel comfortable practising and making mistakes. If you’re looking for a patient, approachable, and reliable tutor to help you improve your German, I would be happy to work with you!

About the lesson

I like to keep my lessons practical, friendly, and focused on what you want to achieve. I use a mix of conversation practice, grammar, and vocabulary so you can use German in real situations. Every student is different, so I adapt my lessons to your level and goals – whether that’s for school, university, work, or just for fun. Most lessons are around 60 minutes, but I can make them shorter or longer if needed. I like to keep classes interactive, so you’ll practise speaking, listening, reading, and writing. I also give feedback and simple tips to help you keep learning between lessons. I am a native German speaker from Berlin and now a Master’s student at the University of Warwick. I have experience helping other students learn German and helped German students improve their English, and I know how to explain things clearly and with patience. My lessons are for anyone – beginners to advanced learners, teenagers, or adults – who want to improve their German in a relaxed and supportive way.
