About Stella
I love to travel, and immerse myself into the culture of my travel destination. One of the best ways to connect with people and explore a foreign culture is to speak the language. I am happy to support your learning journey for the purpose of travel to the purpose of appreciating German literature.
As native German speaker I appreciate English as Germanic language. While conversational English is usually simple and different from German, more advanced Englisch words translate directly from German. For example, the Englisch word "gesticulate" comes from the German word "gestikulieren".
Languages are fun to explore, and I am happy to teach German to you.

For people new to the German language, we will begin with the pronunciation of letters, learning the three genders, and beginner conversation topics. The goal is to be able to have simple conversations in German for travel to German speaking countries.
For the intermediate German speaker, we will focus on speaking fluently, as well as expanding comprehension to be able to grasp 5 minute documentaries spoken in fluent German. The goal is to be able to understand German media and news publications.
For more advanced German speakers, we will focus on expanding conversational and written skills with the goal to read and appreciate German literary pieces. The goal is to appreciate the playful German language with its many descriptive words and homonyms.
