About Laura

Hello! I'm Laura, I am a passionate, native level English speaker and am TEFL qualified, I also have a degree in marine biology. I am from the UK and am based in London, UK. I have a background in teaching. I have taught ESL online and in person. I have taught both 1 - 1 and group lessons. I was also a swimming teacher and have taught both adults and children. I have taught both in the UK and in Australia. I specialise in relaxed, patient and tailored lessons including educational games/activities, props and more to ensure full understanding and to encourage development in learning.

I pride myself on being a great English teacher due to my dedication, enthusiasm, encouragement and experience. I am friendly, patient, encouraging and sensitive to each student's needs and adapt my lessons to students' personal goals and objectives

I have tutored many people and assisted them with their learning goals and hope to assist you on your English language journey too

About the lesson

In my teaching I work towards enhancing and developing students' English skills and building their confidence in both fluency and conversation. My teaching style is fun, patient and encouraging. I use a student-centred approach with guided conversation, engaging techniques and I adapt the lessons to the needs of each student to help them achieve their goals and objectives. I have helped many students build their confidence in English and strive to help more students with their English language journey.
